The European standard plug type charging cable which isused for every new electric car is a Type 2.
It has a seven pin connector at both ends, that is if you have an unteathered lead . It has a seven pin connector where it plugs into your car.
This is the standard plug that is used in car charging points in public places such as supermarkets and swimming pools. The cable allows for a slower alternating current (AC) charge.
